Learning Engagement: Transformative Intake

Traditional intake processes can worsen the survivor’s trauma and impede the advocate’s development of trust with the survivor. This learning engagement focuses on teaching the tools for a successful intake process that centers each survivor’s unique identities, preferred communication mode, and personal experience with trauma.
