Learning Engagement: Navigating Deaf/Hearing Partnerships
This Learning Engagement will focus on strategies that ensure effective communication between Deaf and hearing advocates, ultimately strengthening organizational capacity and services to survivors.
Day 1 began with the panelists sharing their experience and approaches navigating Deaf-hearing partnerships. Day 2 focused on strategic breakout sessions with questions to support individual thinking and planning that will ensure the continued success of the partnership. Through thoughtful questions and group discussions, participants will leave this learning engagement with specific strategies and practices to enhance their partnership activities.
